Hudson Valley Auto Sales
I had a great experience at Hudson Valley Auto Sales. There is a woman named Charming and she was very helpful and not at all pushy. I strongly recommend seeking her out to handle your sale. She was very conscientious. I bought a Kia Sedona and was curious about the date code on the battery. I asked her if she could find out how to decipher it. She got back to me within a day to say that she had called Kia to find out. They have an 88 point inspection once when they get the car and then again before it leaves the door. She called me the morning I was going to pick it up and said that a sensor was giving a low reading and that pickup would be delayed because the mechanic would have to wait for the part and replace it. To me this was not a problem. I would rather have the car completely up to snuff before I drove it off the lot than have to return it after I got home. It found it to be a very well run place.
Horrible service, salesman makes promises about things that will be taken care of before you receive the vehicle, but doesn't follow through on what they say they are going to do. My vehicle was supposed to get a new battery, and the registration taken care of, but vehicle had same old battery. This needed to be changed immediately at my cost because my family got stranded when the battery (which I thought was a new one) failed to start the vehicle, Toyota Dealership found issues with the vehicle that should have been noticed/taken care of during the inspection of my vehicle by Hudson Valley Auto. The salesman told me there was a $96 fee which would be used to cover DMV fees. Upon signing the contract with another gentleman I was informed I would have to pay DMV fees in addition to the $96. When I told the man I was signing the contract with that the first gentleman I spoke to told me the $96 was for DMV fees, he told me he would never say that and that I was basically making it up. Although extremely frustrated with being given the runaround, my wife and I love the car (aside from the things that were supposed to be taken care of) and didn’t want to return it, though the thought crossed my minds on several occasions. Finally, the registration was supposed to be in within a couple of weeks, so I called in and was told it’ll be another week. I call back a week later and they tell me they still have not even processed it yet and in the meantime the temporary registration they provided me will expire. If I had known I would have such hassles with having them take care of the paperwork I would have simply done it myself without a problem. They boast over 20 years experience as a dealership, but then it begs the question, why do you still run a low budget auto shop instead of expanding like any other wise/successful business? ; Perhaps because I’m not the only dissatisfied customer.
My car was beautiful, except for the bonded (over the rust) area that fell off. Would NEVER buy from these guys again. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy
